Basically i am going to be teaching over the summer but budget is tight, and after reading some suggestions for songs i htink Missy Elliot would be a good CD to buy. But i can only really afford ONE of her albums, as i am buying loads of different artists!

So any suggestions to what one i should buy?

wow.... Missy Elliot would be one of the worst to use for teaching a class, ESPECIALLY if it's a class full of little kids. 90% of her songs are about ...ack i dont' even want to bring her crap onto this forum.. but before you decide to buy her albums i suggest you look up her lyrics and see if they're appropriate for a class. you can start searching the lyrics to her more popular songs like, "Work It," "Push (Tush)," and "I'm Really Hot."

You should buy Missy Elliott's "This is not a test" cd. it has some great beats, but yeah you might want to buy the censored version cause there is a lot of cursing.

It is also a good idea, to subscribe to a music downloading site where you pay to download. You can find Missy's songs without the words...so all you hear is the beat and that is definetly a plus when it comes to her music

instead of buying her CDs, juss buy some blank CDs, download the music that YOU want to listen to form her album, and burn it. hope i helped.

Yeah, um, no.

Missy Elliott's latest album mentions the word "pussy" in nearly every single song. It is just...nasty, to be frank. There are much better artists out there who don't feel the need to curse on every track...why not spend money on something more worthwhile? I don't really like the new Black Eyes Peas album either...but it would probably be better than Missy's, as it not quite as suggestive.

The cheapest and best way to go about things...is to buy an mp3 player and download free music...then hook your mp3 player upto your stereo and wah lah...you'll save loads never having to buy cd's again!
