What do you think is a reasonable price for 4x6 mirrors? Either glass or mylar-type mirrors is OK. Does $300 per mirror sound like too much or about right?

There are several places which advertise "glassless" e.g. plastic wall mirrors in about the price range you suggest.
Here is one such from a dance supply place (I know nothing further about them...just picked at random from a web search.)

They have them in several sizes including 4x6 and even 4x8 (which would seem like a better idea if you have adult and teen student).
Of course shipping would have to be added plus installation, though I'd think plastic would be easier (and safer) to do, particularly as a DIY thing.
