Is there a good way to adhere rhinestones to a tutu? I considered getting a hotfix wand (we have one at my studio, but eventually I'd like to get one for my school) but I read that it can actually melt the tutu fabric.

Suggestions? Please and Thanks in advance, as always!

I have used E6000 glue and it keeps all the rhinestones on the costume better than Gem Tack in my opinion. I buy it at the local fabric store.

awesome thanks... what do you put underneath so it doesn't stick to the rest of the skirt? will wax paper work perhaps?

I didn't use wax paper, though that might work. I just put a tiny little drop on the gem and pressed it onto the fabric with my finger underneath.

I have used Glue Dots. They are clear and not messy and surprisingly they work very well!

I use GemTac, I actually just studded a tutu for a student. It worked well. I saw the E6000, but it looked intimidating to me...lol! I'll have to try it next time. I also didn't use anything between the layers. Just a dot of glue and the rhinestone.
