Getting dancers to dance as one person...

I come from a new studio, and as a reward to the girls for doing well at our winter convention, we took our elite dancers and added in a new number. This upcoming weekend (March 28-30) is the first competition where we're competing a second number-- before this we've only had 4 soloist and 1 group number.

The number is clean, the girls know and are confident with the choreography, and their emotional execution is beautiful, the only problem is I'm having a hard time getting my girls to dance as one dancer, instead of 5 soloists.

Any suggestions on things I can do to build this?

That means it's not clean. And I definitely can't teach you to clean in one post. But if you had a more specific question, it would be easier to answer.
