I am in a school performance and tapping with a few friends. The problem is that the floor I'll be tapping on is tile (think school cafeteria) and keep slipping! Is there anyway so prevent this? Rosin and hairspray aren't an option as I need to switch from dress shoes to tap shoes rather quickly. Please help!

My best suggestion is putting duct tape on the bottom. It comes off easy enough and you can get the residue off with some goo gone. It mutes the taps slightly, but it does help somewhat.
