How do the widths of Russian Pointe shoes compare to others?

I am interested to know how the width measurements in Russian Pointe shoes (i.e. w1, w2, etc.) compares to shoes that are measured by a number of x's (x,xx,xxx, etc). Is it like, in general w3 is comparable to a xxx? I greatly appreciate your insight :)

Here is a chart that might prove useful (Just scroll down a tad to get to the Women's Width Chart)

www.the-perfect-pointe.com . . .

Should give you a basic idea :) has all the pointe shoe brands.

Eeeep! The widths on that chart aren't accurate for Bloch. I'm a (tight) C in Aspirations and a very comfortable XXX in Grishko. Might just be the an issue with Bloch though because I do think Grishko XXX and RP W3 are very similar. :)

Russian Pointes 1-4 or 5 do not match Grisko's X system. I know because DD, age 14, wore Griskhos (at least a 4x) until her feet grew too wide. She now wears a 3 width in Russian Pointe Saphir. Hope this helps a bit.
