I'm playing a showgirl in a musical, they are making me wear a very padded push-up bra I am quite little.
Problem is it just looks so so fake and wrong.
Anyone have any ideas of what I could do instead? it is just so obvious that it looks stupid when I wear anything padded.

You should wear what the costume designer gives you and not complain or make alterations unless movement is restricted. He or she chose the look including the push-up for a reason.
Looking silly is one of the most expected parts of musical theatre, haha. I have had to bind my breasts with tenser bandages, stuff them into steel-boned corsets, pad them to Dolly-like proportions...and you shrug and laugh. Theatre isn't about how cute you look unless you're playing young Cosette or whatever.
