This despite Colorado's experience, where Governor Hickenlooper (Dem) has called such a law reckless - this long after it was put into practice.

Do you wonder why DC was named the District of Columbia?

And already DC has very nearly the most dangerous traffic in the nation. Can you imagine adding a few drivers on pot to that mess?

Columbia (name), the female personification of the United States of America, and a poetic name for the Americas

A new federal city was then constructed on the north bank of the Potomac, to the east of Georgetown. On September 9, 1791, the three commissioners overseeing the capital's construction named the city in honor of President Washington. The federal district was named Columbia, which was a poetic name for the United States commonly in use at that time.[13][14] Congress held its first session in Washington on November 17, 1800.[15]

There ya go.

Or are you trying to make an oh so clever allusion to Colombia? Very cute, but I don't even think Colombia cracks the top five cannabis producing countries in the world and at least officially, the possession, sale, transport, and cultivation of marijuana there is illegal.

Oh and he totally took back that statement.

And even if people are still buying illegally, 60% of folks in Colorado are buying through legal channels which, while it underestimates the projected revenue in taxes, is still wildly profitable. Pot is not heroin or cocaine. It has definite positive medicinal uses. I think they should decriminalize it.
