I have recently started preparing the insanely hard Esmeralda variation for a show. I've been working very hard on it, but I feel like I am not fast enough for it, for example, I barely land the pirouette before entering the next section, and I feel rushed. I think it might be faster than other versions that I've seen but I honestly don't know.
The other problem for me is the end section of ballonés. My version has me kicking the tambourine 3 times then going into passé without pile. I have done Grand Pas Classique, and I did fine with it. I wasn't expecting this to be as hard as it is turning out to be. Does anyone have any tips to help with speed and balance? I really want this performance to be the best so any advice would be so lovely.
