how to measure for hornpipe hat

Can someone please inform me of the proper way to measure your dancer for a hornpipe hat....Daughter needs one but want to make sure I am measuring correct....

Hopefully it links, but if not, Marg suggested placing the bottom of the tape measure on e level of the top of the eyebrow, then going around the head. Another poster mentioned measuring 2 finger widths above the eyebrow. This position is where I measure for other kinds of hat for myself.
And this from the Army Navy Store...
"Head - hold the end of the tape measure in the middle of the forehead (above the ears) and around the head (or wherever you would like to position the cap/hat)." The part in brackets is the important bit. Measure where you want the hat to sit.
