How do you get a hyper extended leg? PLEASE!!!

I was wondering how do you get a hyper extended leg for En Pointe, ballet, Jazz, etc. or is it just bone structure... I would do ANYTHING To get a hyper extended leg... And I mean anything. I have a high pain tolerance, in which I am good with any pain. Thanks!

It's a combination of your skeletal structure and how long/loose are all your tendons and ligaments. While it can be a beautiful line on dancers, those with hyperextension have their own problems and challenges when it comes to dancing. It is not healthy for them push back into their knees, so to them "straight" feels more bent. Everyone has their own unique challenges they have to work through and their strengths and weaknesses. Work with what you have instead of longing for something that comes with a sundry lists of additional woes.

I have never even thought of that! I thought it was a stretch/strengthing thing. Thanks!
