Does twirling batons requires two different heads on ends?

Hello!

My daughter wants to start learning twirling, but she wants a baton with two identical heads on ends. I don't know does is matter that heads are originally in different size - might it affect twirling in some bad way if they would be the same?

Sorry for maybe a silly post, but if it doesn't matter I will buy her baton with identical heads (flower-like), if that shall make her happier :)

ps. sorry for my english, it's not my native language.

Yes, one end should be larger than the other. The larger end is called the ball and the smaller end is the tip.
