Possible Research Topics for a Senior Project

I am currently a junior in college and I am a double major in dance (BFA) and biology (BS). I am working on submitting a proposal for my senior project which I have to complete next year. I am doing a research project (it will basically end up being an article review type paper) and I want to tie together my two majors by doing something health/medicine related.

Can any one think of good dance/health/medicine related research topics?

I think a neurobiology angle would work. It's a little old, but this blog post might give you some ideas: www.psychologytoday.com . . .

Otherwise you could discuss bone plates and point shoes, or how dance affects quality or length of life.

For mine I did readiness for pointe. The growth plates etc. I interviewed some teachers (and most of them required their students to get xrays/ a doctors okay before going en pointe).

And now I feel a little old because I wrote that paper 5 years ago.
