Hard floor in class

I went today to one school (new for me) to see how the things are going there.
Teacher and dancers are nice, got some steps to learn and practice at home.

BUT - the floor in that studio is really hard. It feels like concrete with wooden floor on top. Nothing with swing halrequin floor.
Im now thinking, wether I should go there regularly to the classes - Im just kind of afraid of injuries that one can get practicing on hand floors. I always read - do not dance on concrete, or tiles etc, as it may damage the joints etc.
Plus for heavies the floor may be too slippery, so sneakers would be necessary - which is not good on long term for me either, as after dancing too long in sneakers, i will have problem hit the trebles in heavies (been there done that).

I actually managed to injure myself during the warm up already - managed to get thru the class tho.

My question to you guys - should I keep on going there,or better leave it?

If it really is a hard concrete floor then I would keep looking for another new teacher, if this is what it is then it won't belong before you get more injuries.
