Toenail falling off

I posted earlier about my bruised toenail. Now, half is disconnected from the nail bed and there is a new nail growing underneath. I have a feis in a week and another the next weekend, should I leave the old nail on or clip it (It wouldn't be had to clip, as I can lift up the nail)?

This just happened to me. I had to go ahead and remove the dead toenail. Only issue was that the raw skin at the top underneath was sore for a day or two, but I didn't have any trouble dancing with this issue.

You can remove it or leave it at your preference.

Thanks! I ended up removing it now so that I didn't have any problems right before the competition.
