Hi everyone as most of you will know I've been part of the open platform irish dance community for the past 10 years or so.
Recently it's gotten too expensive for me to get to class so I've left that school and joined a dance school in my city which is with CLRG which I'm super excited about and l so really nervous about
I was competing in open championships in open platform competitions but don't know if my new teacher will put me into prelim or open.
Hm what I wanted to know is what is the general feeling towards older dancers in the UK competing in prelims, I've seen a few competitions offer over15 prelim but I'm in my mid 20's and I still really want to compete but don't know if this would cause trouble with dance parents and other teachers

Any thoughts about it?

Many thanks
Jono

Also I'm not sure if I posted this in the right place lol
