Hi. I am an adult ballet dancer.
I'm going to go in for my first pointe fitting soon (permission has been given), but I wanted to post here and ask a couple questions for the community first.....
I have really flat feet--as in, 0 arch. It's been that way for me ever since birth, and they won't budge. I am either a size 7 or 7.5 in street shoes, and although I know I'll have to probably try on an array of shoes, my teacher suggested that Russian Pointe Entrada Pro would be best for me because of my arches, and I've got tapered toes. I looked at RP's sizing chart to get a feel for it, and I just wanted to ask...
For all of you who dance in RP, have you generally found that you end up getting 2-3 sizes bigger or smaller than your street size? I have heard some strange things about this process. Thanks!!!!

RP has it's own sizing scales. Can't go by street size.
If you are as flat footed as I am, make sure to get the Flexible Soft shank. You also might need a shorter vamp.
