I am looking for dancers who have tried the Wild Highland Split Sole ghillies. I sell Highland dance shoes in Canada and was looking to carry these. I received a sample and have had several dancers try them on. They really like the point and the way the heel fits. The main concern has been about the excess leather under the arch, just before and after the lasting. It could be that the sample I purchased is odd.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't tried these but I really want to get my hands on a pair. The only other split sole out there is the hullachans and they don't work for me. I've been trying to find an online shop to buy these from for ages!

Stay tuned. I might be selling these in the near future in Canada. I just need to get some feedback from anyone who has tried them.

I have also been keen to try these. I can't see well from the pictures, are they open toe? I am also curious to know if people think they would suit a wide foot. Looking forward to updates.

They are closed toe and come in narrow, medium and wide. I am attaching another image. Not much brighter though.

Thanks for trying! Can you tell me, is there a seam running up the middle of the toe or is it one piece?
