FESTIVAL IRISH DANCE WORKSHOP COMING TO THE UNITED STATES.
In the past few years a little know form of Irish Dance from Northern Ireland has been making itself know to the world. Festival Dancing has been around for over 50 years, but until recently many have never heard of it. The popular BBC show Jigs and Wigs: The Extreme World of Irish Dancing, was the first to bring it to the attention of many through social media and Youtube. We can even thank the former Festival Dance Champion and lead dancer from Riverdance, Lauren Smyth, brought it to the attention world wide when she choreographed a slow slip jig that featured members of Riverdance.

After reaching out to the Festival Dance Teachers Association (FDTA), we are happy to announce that there will be a Festival Workshop to be held from May 12-14, 2017 in Galloway, New Jersey.
