Forever Dance Alaska is looking to hire a dynamic Hip-Hop instructor to join our faculty for the 2017-18 dance season running June-May, with opportunity to extend contract. We are located in the heart of Alaska's beautiful Kenai Peninsula, Soldotna, AK.

A teacher who specializes in Hip-Hop is a must, qualifications in other styles (tumbling/acro/contemporary) are a plus. Our teacher must understand the need to choose age appropriate music (clean lyrics) and choreography. We offer a supportive, fun, and collaborative work environment. Teacher should be fun, energetic, and have experience teaching students ages 6-adult, beginners-advanced dancers. Teacher should be skilled in editing music and will be heavily involved in the creation and production of 2-3 shows. Offering excellent hourly pay and a relocation package as well as other negotiated benefits.

Requirements:
*Accredited dance training (certificate or diploma) and/or two year minimum teaching experience
*Must proficiently cut and edit music and be able to create technical aspects in a production (lighting, computer effects, etc)
*Must use positive classroom management techniques
*Must work well in a collaborative effort with staff
