About The Performing Arts ConnectionThe Performing Arts Connection is a full service dance and performing arts school for children, teenagers, and adults. We believe that anyone who wants to pursue dance and the performing arts should have a fun, safe, supportive, and exciting environment in which to train. TPAC is committed to building confidence in each student no matter his or her goals as a performer. We train beginners as well as students pursuing a professional career in the arts. At TPAC, we help build confidence every step of the way--no matter which shoes you choose!
Wednesday classes 3:45-9:15pm include Advanced Ballet Technique, Competition Team Jazz, Jazz/Hip-Hop, Teen Jazz, and Teen Theater Dance.
The Performing Arts Connection in Sudbury, MA is seeking qualified, high-energy, and dedicated dance teachers to join our faculty for the 2017-2018 dance season running September to May on Wednesdays. Teachers who specialize in solid technique, innovative choreography, and hold students to high expectations while keeping dance fun and positive are greatly desired! We offer a supportive, fun, and collaborative work environment.
There are many opportunities for growth in this position (choreography for dance team, choreography for youth musicals, summer theater programs, children's and adult performing troupes, etc.)
-Reliable transportation to Sudbury (not accessible to public transport). This is a must!
-Availability Wednesday afternoons/evenings from September 2017 through May 2018.
-Candidates must have at least two years teaching experience.
-A successful candidate will enjoy teaching both recreational and competitive students, have a positive attitude, enjoy working in a team environment, and run a fun, productive, and inspiring class grounded in solid technique.
We are seeking candidates who can help our dancers reach the next level. Teachers who are able to positively motivate our dancers while holding them to high expectations, provide constructive feedback, and create a nurturing class environment where students feel safe to take risks, ask questions, and experience the joy of dance every week are seriously sought.
