Shrinking a Bullet Pointe skirt?

Hi, my bullet pointe skirts seem to be stretching a lot. I got them thinking a size small would be good, but they are too long and do not stay on. How should I go about shrinking them? Dry them on high heat?

I can't tell what fabrication they're made from based on the website. It just says "flowy fabric." Can you elaborate on what they are? Is it a stretch fabric? If so 2 way or 4 way stretch? Is it nylon? Rayon? Chiffon? Georgette?

ETA: You might contact the company and them directly.

I would highly recommend that you consider the fabric type as certain wash/dry treatments can have devastating effects on the garment. You can check on the package the skirt came in for laundering instructions. Usually, if the skirt has a tag, it will tell you what to do and not to do with the fabric such as "do not iron, hand wash and drip dry, do not use bleach," etc.
