Hi! I struggle with my plie and I don't know how to fix it. I started dancing a year ago, and I have seen my plie improve. I know it's not my calves and achellis because my teacher say I have long calves. My chiropractor says it's my ankle, but there isn't a structural problem- they're just tight. Anyone know how to fix this? I'm beginning to see daylight when I plie in jumps and manage to get my heels down. I used to compensate and get great height in my jumps, but I didn't put my heels down

Stand on the edge of a stair and gently lower your heels down over the edge. make sure you keep your leg muscles active and don't just sink down, it needs to be an active stretch, not a passive one.
