After many years, I've closed my studio. My question to anyone willing to give input is how do I figure out the value of my equipment (ballet barres, stereo & speakers, mirrors, etc). Should I consider "depreciation" even though for instance my barres are in perfect condition? I'm also interested in possibly selling my client list. How in the world do I figure out the value of that?

I think you have to take depreciation into account, sure. Because even though they're in perfect condition, they've also been used. Why pay the same price for barres that have seen 1 year, 5 years, 10 years worth of wear, as I would for new ones?
