Future Dance School Name

Hi everyone,

I am currently at University studying a Dance Education degree and in 2 years time when I graduate I am hoping to save up to set up my own dance school. At this stage everything is provisional, however I like to plan things in advance as this way I know exactly what I want to do when I finish University.

I am just trying to come up with a few names I could have for the dance school, which may also include drama so therefore could be named under performing arts, however I am open to all offers if anyone could help.

My name is Cherelle Goode (the e is silent, so if this could be incorporated in without sounding cheesy that would be great)

It will be specialising in Jazz, Commercial and Contemporary, but Ballet classes will also take place however I am not after a Ballet based name.

Hope to find some great ideas,
Thank you

A lot of this would depend on names of other studios in your area (what's already used) or where you are.

Where I'm originally from most dance schools where just 'Name of Owner' Dance School/Studio or 'Name of Town' Dance School/Studio. It keeps it short and to the point and the brand is immediately established as a dance school, it would certainly work with your name and the play on words would be a nice touch too.

If you want to have Jazz and Contemporary, you need to have Ballet. You don't have to have Ballet in the name (the only schools I know of that have Ballet in the name specifically are Ballet only studios, which you already know you won't be), but it's unfair to your future dancers to short change them straight out the gate like that.

Goode Performing Arts Center is fairly obvious name, you can call your dancers the "Goode Dancers"! It practically sells itself!
