With the new year approaching 'New Years Resolutions' are approaching as well. For many people, weight and health are often the focus of our resolutions. So I want to address an aspect of health. Specifically supplements. Health is important, but the changes that we make should be sustainable changes. This is to prevent broken resolutions or destructive habits. First and foremost, it is recommended that the majority of your food comes from fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats. Sometimes though, due to activity level, stress, lack of fresh produce (aka winter) etc, it is very hard to obtain all the vitamins and minerals necessary for health and well being.
