Dance floor for tapping

We had laminate flooring for almost ten years and did not have an issue with tapping on it, but we had to replace from wear and tear. We recently had engineered hardwood flooring installed and the floor is black after every tap class. Like filthy. We have to scrub on our hands and knees to get the marks out. The company suggested replacing it with vinyl tiles, but we tried a sample box and it turned black as well. What kind of flooring can I put down that is suitable for tapping and causes minimal aluminum dust?

There's always going to be metal dust or marks after tap classes but I've never had to scrub a floor to get rid of marks before, that must be so frustrating.

We use a laminate flooring and have always had problems with the dust created from tap. We use a Bissell steam mop and we have found that works the best in cleaning the floor.
