pre-exam nutrition for weight loss

In about a month I'm taking my advanced foundation RAD exam. I feel like my dancing is on track and I'm reasonably happy with how I'm performing the syllabus, but I do have some physical things I'd like to change a bit.

I'm not overweight, but I do have pretty heavy legs - my thighs in particular are quite big and I feel like that often ruins my lines.

I'm vegetarian and generally try to make any healthy choices, but if there are any dietary changes I could make to shed a few pounds before the day of the exam, I would like to give it a go.

Any advice would be appreciated!
