Question about dancewear

I'm a 24 year old male dancer that started taking ballet about 2 months ago and have grown quite interested in it. However, when I'm at home I've found it more comfortable and put together to wear a leotard with tights underneath the leotard when I practice, go through exercises, or stretching.

Would wearing a leotard and tights underneath (obviously with a dance belt) be ok for going to dance class, and what about leotard/tight colors that aren't black/white?

Usually guys wear their leotard under their tights.

Personally I wear a white shirt, black tights, dance belt, white socks and white ballet shoes. Many studios has this as their dress code for guys. What do you wear for ballet classes>

Welcome to the dance world.

I would definitely expect any male student, in my class, to adhere to the traditional male dress code, as luv2plie has described.
