Advice needed - parent drama/removal from team

Looking for some advice from experienced owners/teachers with a problem parent and removing their children from your studio.

We have a parent who has been with our studio for many years. And, year after year, she causes a great deal of drama with other students and parents. This year has gotten off to a particularly bad start with her for a variety of reasons (I could write a book on the past couple of weeks alone) and we are only 2 weeks into our season (as far as classes go)!

However, her most recent stunt is to post a comment on FB with extremely negative comments about a new teacher at the studio. Part of our dancer/parent contract specifically states that we will not tolerate negative comments about our students, teachers, parents or it could result in removal from the team. We encourage parents to voice their concerns with us right away so we are aware of them and can help work through things. She is very unhappy with a few of the decisions we have made (through many, many discussions), but we have stood our ground and not given into her demands, as that's what is best for our other students and our studio as a whole.

Generally speaking, we have a very positive group of dance parents and really do have an open communication model. But, as you all know, one negative person can affect the whole team.

She has two daughters who have danced for numerous years and they are the reason we have put up with the mom for so long. However, this is a blatant disrespect for our rules and a violation of our contract. Have any of you had to remove students from your team (who you really like and want to continue to teach) because of the parent?

Any advice for our situation, or info on how you handled your situation, would be greatly appreciated.
