I've done:
Rock Your Body-Justin Timberlake
Come Together-The Beatles
When I'm 64-The Beatles (I hadn't heard of it before I danced to it but it's great. I've only heard the brass instrumental, though)
The 'We Go Together' song at the end of 'Grease'

Those are all I can think of right now...

I don't know if it was mentioned yet but Zoot Suit Riot by the Cherry Poppin Daddies. We used it for our tap routine and if you pair this song with a costume including a tie, suspenders and an old derby hat, you have an amazing number!

I hate to repeat what other people have said but two years ago my studio's company class did a tap dance to "Hey Pachucko" (The Mask Soundtrack) It was so good I got chills doing it.
Blood on The Dance Floor - Michael Jackson is great for all ages.
I've used Zoot Suit Riot about three times... it's been a hit every single time.
Ripper Sole - Stomp... This one is a GREAT one.
Fire - Joe Budden (make sure you get the edited one)
Harder to Breath - Maroon 5 another awsome song to dance to. It's a little slower but you can still make a great dance out of it.
Can't Stop The Rock - Boys and Girls Soundtrack
Sunday Mornings - Maroon 5. It's slow but it would make an awsome dance. I'm actually trying to work on it.
On Fire (instrumental) - Lloyd Banks. It's a hiphop song with a great beat to it.
Smooth Criminal - Michael Jackson this is also great for a jazz or hip hop class
Thriller - Michael Jackson, another one that can be used for more than just tap
Everybody Dance Now - C&C Music Factory
She Wants To Move - N.E.R.D.
Shiver - Maroon 5

Thats all I can think of now. Good luck to everyone and let me know if you use any.
some more

Here are a few more to keep you ON YOUR TOES!! Take the ones you like and leave the ones you don't!

My Cheri Amor - Stevie Wonder... just a suggestion, see if you could do anything with it!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun - Cyndi Lauper

**For a Funkier more Hip/Hop type of Jazz** Don't Wanna Be a Playa No More - Big Pun, It's got tap in the background and it could be a really awsome dance. You might want to gt the edited version though.

In The Middle of The Night- Billy Joel

It's Still Rock And Roll To Me - Billy Joel

Cell Block Tango - Chicago Movie Soundtrack

Luck Be A Lady Tonight - Frank Sinatra

Looking For Love - Viktar Duplaix (spelling?) Deliever Us From Eva soundtrack

Guys and Dolls - Guys and Dolls Soundtrack (great if you want to add a little bit of non-dance coreography in the beginning)

Gonna Make You Sweat - Keith Sweat

No Shirt No Shoes No Problems - Kenney Chesney (great for little kids)

I'm Really Hot - Missy Elliot

Hope this helped.

Our school put on the musical "Kiss Me Kate" this year, and it has a lot of songs that could be used for tap. The opening number, "Another Opening, Another Show" has a tap break in the middle and is a lot of fun.
Also, the song Stomp to My Beat. I don't know who it's by, but it would be awesome to tap to.

ok we did a dance to 42nd street on the 42nd streeet soundtrack (with some alterations) and it was the COOLEST thing in the world. i think we had about three or four classes together so it was something like forty people or thereabouts and it was so cool!! haha. that whole soundtrack is awesome, but the other song that would have been great to dance to is 'go into your dance' some others are..
on the sunny side of the street by manhattan transfer (cool with canes and hats - props are fun!!)
and Choo Choo Ch'boogie also by manhattan transfer
those are both really fun- they're more traditional-ish and then one that i was in when I was about five is
Whatcha got cookin by .. someone.. and it was really cute we did this hand game type thing in the middle so it was low-key, but it was perfect for little kids. you could also use it for older kids, and do harder steps, it would still work really well.
