There is a song out there called "Absurd" I can't think of who its is by...but there are very few lyrics other then "absurd" and it more hard rock...it makes an amazing tap routine.

I totally agree with you! My Chemical Romance might seem an odd choice, but I have choreographed dances to several of their songs! Good stuff!

new york state of mind! the slow section in my tap solo is to a version sung by that person from the first american idol ( we didnt get the show here ) but i thinnnk it's like, tamyra gray or something? really good anyway!

and dirrty by christina aguilera , there's a REALLY good remix of it with diana ross kinda over the top in a way..hard to explain, it's got a great beat underneath it though in the remix~

Another good but kinda difficult one:

El Tango de Roxanne-Moulin Rouge

I did the first bit of the song for a solo and the difficult part is because it's all slow so you do a lot of triple time's and slow turns but the cool thing was that for the end of the song(after the violin scratchy bit)the whole class ran in and then it was an awsome routine to do

A change of song that I teach...I'm now teaching my duo "Feet do yo' stuff" from the Hallelujah, Baby! Musical Soundtrack. There were gonna do "Don't rain on my parade" by Linda Eder but it's a bit challenging for them if they did it up to tempo, so I switched songs for them and I have half of it choreographed. It's super cute!

Also, my studio is doing a really big tap production this year (all 4 competition teams are in it, about 55 people) to "Moses Supposes" and a Singing in the rain version. It's really cute! I love it

I've only been doing tap for just a year and we did Aint that a Kick in the Head by Robbie williams and Hot Shoe Shuffle and this Ray Charles song (sorry cant remember the title)! These were really good but hot shoe shuffle was quite fast (for someone who had only been tappin a couple of months)but a lot of fun to do.
