They have the ability to edit, lock, move and remove threads, and the ability to ban trolls. Their actions are explained below the date of the comment they moderated. They bear a great burden and responsibility in this endeavor as it is no easy task to keep the calm in raging seas of unrest (sorry, getting carried away there with my poetic license  ). You can tell they are moderators by their name alone—they can alter the color of their names.
There is no application procedure to becoming a moderator and having stars is not a requirement. Moderators are selected based in part on their demonstrated ability to be fair and just; principled but caring; through their participation on dance.net; a desire and willingness to help others; and share their knowledge and love of dance.
They are the first, but not the last. With the help of the moderators, I will appoint more as the need arises.

i think that they were great choices and i have reasons for that first of all andrew you really need a guy in your moderators and andrew i can see the perfect choice i have notices he has alot of strong view about things he sticks to and i also see he doesnt just sit on on board he moves around alot and that is what a good moderator does!!
popytart again has been everywhere at RG ballet jazz tap photos and as we have seen she has had alot of knowledge with these subjects
then balletgurl well i dnt really know her but i am sure linh you had all your reasons and that it was a good choice
