If you have a recent browser, when you move your mouse over the blue menu bar, you'll notice that the forums under each category pull-down in a little menu. This is a quick way to jump to your favorite forum.



Also, if your browser doesn't support Javascript/Activescript, then you will just have the normal HTML menus (they're underneath the bar).



These new menus should be compatible with 99% of the browsers out there (in theory ). Please let me know if you have problems with them, and if you like them. I plan on adding an option that will let you disable them completely after a brief testing period.



p.s. One known bug is that under Internet Explorer 5.5, the menu doesn't disappear if you move your mouse away without clicking. This will be fixed soon. You can move your mouse over <i>Hot!</i> or <i>members</i> to close any menu if it really bothers you.

Yep, they are working and are great! hopefully this will keep those people happy who seem to be having trouble finding things as it was before. Im using Internet Explorer, and it's definately not a new version and the menus are working fine!

I love the new drop down menus. It makes things so much easier that way because when you roll over the catagories then you can see exactly what you are looking for instead of guessing. You've done a great job with this site! Keep up the great work.

I've noticed that too Linh, but there is a kind of refresh pb, sometimes the menu doesn't disappear when i'm browsing or entering messages. I don't know if it comes from my PC or from the site, but this doesn't happend on other sites

It`s the Internet Explorer 5.5 bug! I have it too. But like Linh said, move your mouse over Hot! or Members area that doesn`t have a dropdown thing to get the screen clear!

Yeah! It's so much better to use. I really like it!
Now it's a lot easier to find what you're looking for. (I used to get lost all the time, the way it was before , LOL).

OK, it looks like our Macintosh friends had the menu out of place further down the page than it appeared on Windows machines. I've moved the menu to the top and tested it on my iMac. It's still not perfect, but more usable than before.

Also, this new placement appears to have fixed the IE 5.5 bug where the menus weren't disappearing if you didn't click on them. So the top-most position is the preferred solution, and I will keep you updated on bug fixes.

I likes!! they are nice and make the actual forum area wider, really wide in my res, but its nice Makes things look a lot cleaner
