does anyone here do any afro-caribean dance? My dance group is doing alot this year and a lot of people have never heard of it and really misunderstand. at one point the local newspaper said that we were trying to put a spell on the audience. i'm wasn't sure what board to put this under but african dance seemed like the nearest thing. please feel free to comment.

I'm caribbean and i have done african dance before and it has the same elements of african dance, I dont know if u mean an incorporation of other types of dance from different cultures because the caribbean gets its influence from all over.
