who much to you pay for a year of drill team? and about how much for each item?

We pay about 500.00 when we start and about 700.00 for comp. We pay for little things during the year also,but these are the majority.

do the "here and there" add up?? cuz i was told dat drill can become very expensive!

yes drill team is expensive i'd say over 1k a year it's does at up.

We had to pay over $1000. each item was between $30-$50.

Yah drill does get expensive but its so worth it in the long run! Im on the same team as friscostar and we pay 500 at the start of the year then have to raise anywhere from 350-1000 dollars for contest depending on how many dances you do. My contest this year is 455 for 5 dances : 3 team dances and 2 ensembles! Its alot more if u do solos i think our captains is like 1000 or so...

ours is about $800 in the start and depending what trip we take...it can be even more..this year we are going to hawaii and our trip is about $1600 in addition to the $800 but we make monthly payments and we do a TON of individual and team fundraisers!

Here in Utah there is a limit to how much a team can charge their members. It is $1000. But that doesn't include all the 'extras' that seem to slip in. We pay in installments though, not all up front so it seems to help.

This season everyone had to pay $2575. I went to an extra camp, so I paid about $200 extra.

New members were $800 and returning were about $500. Officers have to pay more though.
