Full time Position with salary pay. National winning dance team in the Houston/Clear Lake area near the Space Center/Nasa. Established dance studio in bus. for 4 years. Competitive dance team 89 members plus studio students who participate in weekly classes like ballet, tap, jazz & hip hop. Studio has four dance rooms and great parent support. I have performed with the Houston Metropolitan Dance Company (a jazz company), Psophonia (a modern company),and with the Uptown Swing Dance Company (a commercial/industrial company). I have a very strong ballet backgound, as I initiially trained in a pre-professional ballet company. My primary focus is jazz, and I have taught at many studios in Houston. My dance background is unlimited!!! I have danced since I was 3 and have been a member of many acclaimed national dance teams. During my high school years I served as Colonel for the nationally acclaimed Kingwood Fillies dance team. After high school I received a scholarship to attend Sam Houston State University and became a member of the Orange Pride dance team. Currently I am finishing my senior year of college at the University of Houston, and have just co-created the newest addition of the Houston Aeros hockey team game day entertainment by creating the Sonic Boom Dance Team. I have been a member of the Marching Auxiliaries staff for five years, and do many tasks for them, including but not limited to: choreography, directing summer camps, judging competitions, helping to put together choreography for citrus bowl halftime, etc..
