The rehersals obviously aren't going to work, so I say we just skip them, make a poster saying who is in which part and post the dances and stuff! Heather, did you finish typing out the dances? We're going to have to just post coz we'll never get it finished

I was also thinking, I thought it had died completely, so i was gonna bring it to the tap department, and perform it there, and obviously other people could be in it, but i was kinda gonna start over... does this interest anyone? or do people just wanna get it over with?

We had talked about if Pia left(which I think she did) I would take over(since I konw a lot about the show), but I don't wanna like hoard in, so Nicola would you like to take over w/ me? And maybe you too Kelly. We could be co-directors or something! I have all the dances finished, and the script, and the costumes, but they're on my other computer which I haven't gotten back yet(I think the disk got lost in the mail lol) so those will be here in like a week! Why don't we find out who's active and if they're not active anymore move people up from smaller parts ot bigger parts and then recast the smaller parts? And then I'll be able to post the stuff I was supposed to by that time, and we could get someone to do hair and make-up, and have a few rehearsals so everyone knows what's going on. and then perform it! What does everyone else think?

Oh, sorry Heather! Yeah I remembered that you wanted to direct it as well, but I forgot to PM you to ask you about it. . Yeah, I think that's a great idea. We can start advertising around the V.I.S and stuff. I'm going to find the cast list to post here and then we can work out who's here and who's not. guys i actually did not left but i said stuff it to 42nd street because i tried so so so so so many times to get it back on its feet but NO ONE came to rehersals and i said NO one i was the last post on the rehersal post for about three months!!

this production sadened me so so so much because centre stage was so succesful and then for this to happen.

Napthine - Well we thought you had left because it said in your profile you hadn't posted since early November, sorry.

What I don't get is you say it's ALL Heather's fault yet you also said that noone came to rehersals so it can't be all her fault! I seem to remember that some of the choreo was being posted anyway.

I can't explain to you why noone was coming to your rehersals, but we seem to have had a quick response from people and we are getting it back up and running well so far.

The choreography hasn't been posted yet because we are still recasting and trying to sort out the mess, but how do you know that it isn't all completed and everything?

And I still can't see how all the blame falls back on Heather, I happen to know that she was very stressed about this and you could have made it easier by not throwing blame on her every 5 seconds. Perhaps I don't know the full story, but this is just what appears to have happened.

This production is going to be a success if it kills us! Lol. Thank you for your input so far Napthine.

Anyway, Heather, should we put up a post about recasting? I think putting one up in both Arabesque and Fouette would be good, but your dorm is in a major slump right now so we probably wont get much interest However, I'm sure there will be quite a few newbies in Arabesque willing to take over the parts. Once we've done that I'd like to have a meeting in the rehersal room for all cast and crew about this production, then we can start rehersals and we could maybe make it a New Years production?

As for the cast, I got a reply from everyone except 1 person, and 1 other person said they could no longer participate. So I took those 2 people out, and moved the people from smaller roles to bigger roles. I didn't ask Elyse or Jasmine whether they still wanted to participate, but I moved them up anyways, and if I PM them and they say no, then we can recast their parts also. As you can see we need 6 more parts to be cast b/c the other smaller parts(I think there's 6) are played by people in the chorus. But we do need a pretty big chorus. Mac is not too big of a role so that person can also be in the chorus if they would like.

I agree, our dorm seems to be in a slump. The problem is, many people are active, but no one posts, like ever. I think if we make a post for both dorms, we should have enough turnout for the smaller parts and hopefully the chorus. If we don't get enough people trying out, we could always open the chorus to other dorms.
