Great post and very enlightening, one point I didn't agree with:

Give the nice boys a chance. Give the "geek" a chance. you'll be pleasantly suprized.

The words "give him a chance" are the beginning of suicide of the soul.
I won't date nice boys.
It's not because I'm a massochist.
I don't like (or date) jerks either.

I'm not a nice girl, and they're not attractive to me. Too bad I won't date a guy I don't find attractive.

(And NO, he doesn't have to be a woman battering twit to be attractive, he just has to have goals and a bit of self confidence.)

I have been using a long time to find the right guy and now I have found him, he is a medsin student and is just as fun and childish as he is responsible and serious!! He is just perfect! We have been together for 4 months today and things are just getting better and better!! I have had a bulimia problem for a year now and he has been fantastic and supportive!!

When reading this add I guess I know that I have got the perfect boyfirend, not great, but fantastic!! I really love him! He makes me smile all day, makes me feel safe, beautiful and he is the most caring person I ever met! I can really imagine spending the rest of my life with him! And as scary as that sounds I like to imagine the future with him! Even though it probably won`t happen for a while, I like to think that he would be someday the father of my children and my husband! I think this scares a little bit, but I don`t expect it to happen at least for the next five years!

I just enjoy being in love and spending time with my better half!

great post and it makes sense but i may add my own advice to those looking for a great guy: be yourself, don't let anybody compromise your values, if anything doesn't feel right it probably isn't right for you, and have fun. your hear, soul, and mind will let you know when you have a great guy. Trust yourself.

I appreciated this advice very much even though it is geared for a young woman it still applies to us Senior Ladies to be sure.
I have been attracted to the Bad Boys in my day and it turns out poorly in the long run.

Nice guys do not finish last in my book now. I am looking for that good man to spend the rest of my golden years with.
