I think an awesome song which changes up alot is BOMBS OVER BAGHDAD(sp?) By OUTKAST. I used it for one of my classes and it worked out great. It's just one of those songs you can do alot with, and can use the whole song without it getting boring.

Will Smith always has alot of stuff to use for the lil' hip hoppers. I did a routine to MIB with the little ones and they had on the suits and sunglasses, the whole bit, and it turned out really cute.

One more suggestion in STAYIN' ALIVE BY WYCLEF JEAN

Hope that helped atleast a little bit.

Rhythmn Nation by Janet Jackson is what my hip hop class is doing this year. Also, Shawn Desman (Canadian, if you've never heard of him) is really good. Pretty clean, no swearing. I find it hard to find good clean music for hip hop. I also use old stuff like Young MC, Maestro Fresh Wes, and Tone Loc (anyone know who I'm talking about?) I put on some of these artists for my oldest class (16-18) and they had no idea what it was. I felt so old!

Can't go wrong with Missy, Black Eyed Peas, or Timbaland.
I try to stay away from top 40 or anything on radio rotation.
