so i checked in the 'rules and regulations of dancebelts for males in ballet' handbook, and yes neDayATaTime they said that it is allowed, as for possible, if your buttcrack is too thin maybe all that cloth won't fit.

did you know that wearing two dance belts in Sudan will get you casterated?

And your point is????
How would anyone know else know what you are wearing????

gaudium, that's exactly my point. you could wear as many or as few as you're comfortable with, that's that. the 1/8" that an extra dance belt adds to your waist size won't matter for anything in clothes designed for you to MOVE in, so get over it everyone, wear what looks best, we just dont want to see definition in your junk.

Hi Kenwoodman!

There are times that being "revealed" is part of the choreography. For instance, take a look at Bejart's men, or other male ensembles--there is definitely a "look" that is intended, in the costume design.

Most of the time, the "look" of the dancer is up to that dancer. Other times, the costume designer or choreographer might specify that something is to be worn, or not worn.

Keep On Wearing Comfortable Dance Clothing!

I know I'm not supposed to post here (horrors of horrors!) but I Saw the tip about the febreeze and have another cheaper solution. If you take vodka and stick it in a spray bottle it'll help to deoderize(sp?) and santize. It'll smell like booze when its wet but once its dried it'll help with the stink. It's and old costumers trick they use on tutu's etc. during shows.

Thank you for your thoughtfulness in posting answers most guys are probably afraid to ask!!

I hope it gives them confidence to try a class. Ballet is way too important not to be shared with guys!!

hahahah you got me laughing with that one! Superb guide. Even as a girl, i dsicovered a lot more about treating male dancers with the correct respect and that they, like us, have loads of little thinsg they're concious about.

WELL DONE...it's very well-written and informative!
