Okay well im trying out for my poms squad this year..i'm going to be a freshman in high school and our poms squad is veryvery good, the varsity squad came in 5th at nationals and there are some amazing girls trying out this year and its hard to get into, but a lot of people tell me that i could get into it. I have a lot of trouble with my fouettes, and i think we have to do 2 counts of 8. tryouts are in like 2 weeks but there is a technique class this tuesday in the high school cafeteria. The thing is, i dont know like if im suppose to go with a friend or go alone or anything! cuz blondbebe58 helped me because she tried out last year and she went with a friend but all my friends are telling me that they are doing it in alphabetical order this year, im afraid i wont have someone to go with. i have friends doing it but all of them have picked there
'just in case' partners, but i do have a friend from another town that might try out with me. I really need advice on how to do:
-split leap
-beach
-fouettes (with a straight leg)
i can do all of these, just not very well..

and what is a:
-ring jump
-calypso jump
-a la seconde
-turning center
-turning switch leaps

everything else we have to do i can do well so im okay with that, and the technique class will teach us this stuff too for the people that don't know stuff (like me..tee hee)
