Alright, I had to sit down with my laptop in front of my bookcase to make sure I didn't miss any. I limited myself to ten, though. I also included summaries from bn.com just in case anyone wondered what they were about. Sorry if this gets really long :)

1. the perks of being a wallflower by Stephen Chbosky: This is the story of what it's like to grow up in high school. More intimate than a diary, Charlie's letters are singular and unique, hilarious and devastating. Caught between trying to live his life and trying to run from it puts him on a strange course through uncharted territory. The world of first dates and mixed tapes, family dramas and new friends. The world of sex, drugs, and The Rocky Horror Picture Show, when all one requires is that perfect song on that perfect drive to feel infinite.
2. Cut by Patricia McCormick: While confined to a mental hospital, thirteen-year-old Callie slowly comes to understand some of the reasons behind her self-mutilation, and gradually starts to get better.
3. Kerosene by Chris Wooding: There are millions of boys like Cal in high schools across America. He's got an okay family and some screwed up friends. He's not popular, but he's not unpopular, either. He's just there. But a reckless, inarticulate tension inside him is waiting for release, something he can't always control. He wants everything to go right and tries to do good when he can. When that doesn't work he burns things. He destroys. He cries out and wonders if anyone hears.
4. Better than Running at Night by Hillary Frank: Having removed the overly dramatic makeup of her solitary high school days, Ellie looks forward to recreating herself and her art. Arriving alone for winter session at the New England College of Art and Design, Ellie finds the ideal opportunity. In her first days she begins dirty dancing with the Devil. Then she makes out with him. A story about independence, trust, and boys.
5. The Earth, My Butt and Other Big Round Things by Carolyn Mackler: Fifteen-year-old Virginia Shreves has a larger-than-average body and a plus-size inferiority complex. She lives on the Web, snarfs junk food, and follows the "Fat Girl Code of Conduct." Her stuttering best friend has just moved to Walla Walla (of all places). Her new companion, Froggy Welsh the Fourth (real name), has just succeeded in getting his hand up her shirt, and she lives in fear that he'll look underneath. Then there are the other Shreves: Mom, the successful psychologist and exercise fiend; Dad, a top executive who ogles thin women on TV; and older siblings Anaïs and rugby god Byron, both of them slim and brilliant. Delete Virginia, and the Shreves would be a picture-perfect family. Or so she's convinced. And then a shocking phone call changes everything.
6. The Burn Journals by Brent Runyon: After a bad day at school, eighth grader Brent Runyon comes home, plays a little basketball with his brother, then goes inside, soaks his bathrobe in gasoline, and set himself on fire. Thus begins the real-life odyssey of a 14-year-old boy struggling first to survive and then to retrieve a place in the universe.
7. Keeping You a Secret by Julie Anne Peters: As she begins a very tough last semester of high school, Holland finds herself puzzled about her future and intrigued by a transfer student who wants to start a Lesbigay club at school.
8. Life in the Fat Lane by Cherie Bennett:Despite a strict diet and workout schedule, pretty and popular Lara soon weighs 200 pounds. Desperate to get her body back and find an explanation for her mysterious weight gain, Lara is diagnosed with a metabolic disorder with no known cure. Faced with the truth -- she may never be thin again -- Lara wonders who will be her true friends and who will shun her because of her weight.
9. Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson: When Melinda Sordino's friends discover she called the police to quiet a party, they ostracize her, turning her into an outcast -- even among kids she barely knows. But even worse than the harsh conformity of high-school cliques is a secret that you have to hide.
10. White Oleander by Janet Fitch: Astrid is an only child with strong attachments to her brilliant if unstable mother, Ingrid, and their idyllic life together. Astrid's world is shattered, however, when Ingrid murders her lover after a devastating rejection. Her life becomes a constantly changing whirlwind of strange new faces and foster homes.

My favorite book of ALL TIME is "The Outsiders". There are so many lessons you learn from it. I cry every time I read it. It is just amazing.

Noughts and Crosses, Knife Edge and Checkmate by Malorie Blackman are my top three...
Feeling Sorry for Celia, Finding Cassie Crazy and Becoming Bindy Makenzie by Jaclyn Moriarty are next, although the last one did have an *unusual* plot.
Catalyst by Laurie Halse Anderson is great, and I've ordered the other two written by her from the library.
Ruby Holler, Walk two moons and Absolutely Normal Chaos by Sharon Creech are very good, and I'm hoping to read Bloomability soon.
Sleepwalking by Nicola Morgan is one of my all-time favourites, and The Passion Flower Massacre is next on my list to read. Most of the time I hate sci-fi/fantasy but I love books about dystopic socitites.

I'm adding Fleshmarket, also by Nicola Morgan (it didn't click it was by the same author until this morning) and The Passion Flower Massacre now that I've read it.
Burning Your Boats, a collection of Angela Carter's short stories is fantastic, but my favourites in there are definately from The Bloody Chamber.
Finally, The Devil's Arithmatic by Jane Yolen, was my favourite book about two years ago.
