Hey all
I was just writing to ask what kind of uniforms y'all wear? Our team is pretty classic and we go with the boots, hats, and sparkly outfits. We often change for theme dances but other than that we usually wear the same thing.

When I was on the team, we wore the same outfits for basically most of the football games. It was sparkly outfits, hats, boots, and footed toast tights. In fact, most of the other drill teams around here wore basically the same thing too. We would sometimes change before halftime for a special performance every once in awhile, though,which was very rare. We had to wear the same toast tights for every game regardless of what our outfits looked like.

For football season basically the same for us, we used to wear keds, with long socks instead of boots, but we've switched to boots now.. w/ field hats and cowgirl style outfits.. lotsa glitter and short skirts or fringe panties.. we use special outfits for things like homecoming, too..

our drill team wears basically the same thing. but we dance with our band so we were something pertaining to the theme of thier show. like this yearit was fiesta so we dressed up like spanish girls

Our school colors are god aweful... orange and black. Here in FL we dont do the traditional boots and hat thing. Florida is all about unitards. Ours have a white long sleeve top (in florida haha) that comes to a V in the front and back. Teh bottoms are black and an orange sequin diamond goes on the chest and mirrors on the back. We were keds and white leg warmers so our kicks are accented... Boots dont allow for a toe point

I love our football season uniforms consisting of leotard, sleeves, skirt, overlay, gauntlets, tights, belt, and to top it off the boots and the hat. Luckily our colors are red. black and silver. With all those parts the uniform is sometimes a pain to put on.

Our uniforms are pretty much the same.. we have the light toast shimmery tights.. short skirt. shiny top..overlay..white leatard. boots.. hat.. shimmery belt.. and sparkly gauntlets.. our colors are maroon and silver, and we change the skirts depending on whether the game is home or away.. (home maroon, away white)

i feel bad for u guys. Are drill team isnt anything like that. We would wear an actual costume. Sometime it was cold out but we would be either wearing tights and a purple shiny skirt and halter top for our jazz routine then for pom we would be wearing black pants with fake chaps and a shiny harley davidson top since our pom theme was "biker theme" and for our "home" routine we would wear black lycras pants with purple silver and black strip down the sides and out old old pom top.

I feel sorry for anyone who has to wear unitards EVER. Unitards just don't flatter anyone! EWWWWW for unitards!

Well we're very basic and classic. I'm a Lt. and I wear a blue sequined hat, either a white/blue overlay or balero vest, sometimes white sleeves, bodysuit and skirt or course lol, toast tights, white boots and the officers have a baton.

yep same here.tan tights, leotard, skirt, belt, overlay, gaunlets, hat, boots.and we do special uniforms to.like a skirt dance we had those long flowy ones.uh we had a game on halloween this past year so he danced to Thriller and dreseed up in like matching ghosty looking costumes.and we have a performance outfit of pants and a zip top we use sometimes like for a father-daughter dance.

Wow, my school's uniforms are nothing like that. For parades we wear long sleeve unitards with attached skirt(i guess it's a california thing!). They're blue with gold sequins and funky puffy sleeves. They're kinda cute though! We wear them with tan tights and tan shoes (they resemble marching band shoes, and they are ubercomfortable). They also allow for pointed foot. We wear flower crowns in our hair. It's really cute altogether!

As for football games, we don't perform on the field much, we usually just perform in the stands and we wear our "peps". I don't know how many of you have these, but they're basically skirts with matching tank, and white K-Swiss. It looks really nice. They used to be kind of cheerleader-ish, but we changed them this year to look more unique. Football games are usually for the cheerleaders to do their thing, and we usually perform only during homecoming halftime, and every once in a while when cheer isn't prepared.

This is actually my schools second year with a drill team, cuz the schools only 10 years old, so I'm happy to be a part of a newly growing legacy! We're pretty good considering how long we've been around. I'm pretty happy with the uniforms.

Humm.. differnt type of drill..... Dancers.

OMg! Our director didn't order our uniforms in time this season. The first game we ended up in our warmups...which really didn't look that great...and she wanted us to wear our hats with them, but we all told her that it would look awful...she still said we would wear it...and then she finally changed her mind. She's so clueless...and she even let the whole team think we were gonna get to wear our pretty uniforms. ugh.

What are fringed panties?

Depends on the dance I suppose.

The girls have a black velvet full body outfit with rhinestones for the more classic look ($150). They also have to purchase a military jacket for military ($200).

They ordered all the tops for the games and other wear from Victoria Secrets this year. They use the different tops with black Maria pants for a real sleek look.

They also order their travel jackets and bags and shoes to match costumes. On game days they have a special shirt that each girl has that has our team logo on it.

Totals about $800 to start. That isn't too bad. Some places are alot more.

damn u spent crazy money on ur uniforms. Our school wont make our team into a real team b/c none of the schools around our area have a dance team like ours. so they call it a club in the year book and stuff. ALSO meaning that they don't give us any money for anything! so our uniform arn't anything like leptards cause our team stlye is pretty urban like.

ya.... um.... I wear a cheer uniform on my drill team for representing my school lol! Then for the competitions We wear these really cut leatards w/ skirts attached! There like a maroonie color!
