I live in Paris, it's a very very beautiful city, maybe one of the most beautiful in the wold (and it's not because I live here!!!)
There are many many things to do, theaters, opera, shopping, museums.... I can very often goto ballet performances too, and th Paris opera ballet company is one of the best in the world.
About dance schools..... i do ballet, so will only be able to talk about balelt schools: there are all levels of schools, very good and less good ones. in my school, which is quite famous in Paris, we have lots of paris opera balelt dancers coming to take classes. the teachers are former dancers and principals of the Paris opera balelt company, and 2 of them are still teachers there too. But i'm very happy to be able to take such wonderful classes
If you want to know more about paris, do not hesitate to ask, i'd be pleased to reply.....
and here are a few pics to dream:

I will be studying in Paris for six weeks this summer, and I'd love to take a class or two! I'd like to steer away from the really intense classes, though, since I haven't been dancing very much for a few years. Do you know of any schools that offer adult ballet classes that aren't too demanding? |

MonicaJayne, i sent you an email!
kathryn66, congratulations on coming to france! Will you be in Paris? Don't worry about the language, we have many foreign dancers coming to our studio, and ballet is anyways a global art, the only language you use in ballet is the body language |
