Wow. Talk about useful information! Having previously taken Pas De Deux classes before, this is all so true. [sadly, i have had a girl rip a big one in my face. but the lift looked great.]

Very good guide, thank you! Especially about not dropping the girl. A parter dropped me OFF the stage once, admittedly I did kick him you know where going into the lift... but even so! It was ok for the performance, but getting that trust back took a LONG time!

Thanks for all of the tips - I have been doing pas de deux for about a year and it is very fun. It is surprising how hard it is, though, compared to how easy it looks on stage,
