1. If you could go back and start your life over again, what one thing would you do differently?

Last year I got into a big fight with one of my friends. I don't really know how or who started it, but then she went behind my back and did something, tried to spread rumors about me, and I totally freaked out without having asked her why she was doing all this. We didn't talk for about 8 months, but now we are really good friends again and we've sorted everything out. I would have went back and changed how I acted about the whole situation.

2. Why do you think you should be Miss VIS?

I would like to win (who doesn't? ;)) but it doesn't really matter to me. I just hope everyone has fun.

3. If you don't win Miss VIS, which contestant would you like to see win and why?

Umm probably Raindancer or danncerat. Raindancer is president of Attitude Dorm and has done a ot of organizing there and we've talked a few times and she's really nice. And dancerat organizes stuff for the jazz compartment and productions, she is very involved in VIS and does an AMAZING job.

1. If you could go back and start your life over again, what one thing would you do differently?

Well, I think I wouldn't change anything about my life, because I think that everything happens for a reason, and if I changed one detail, then I may not have learned anything from it and everything after that may be different, and I like my life, and I've learned to appreciate anything that comes my way.

2. Why do you think you should be Miss VIS?

Well, of course, it would be another experience for me, and something new. I think I'm pretty responsible to handle the title, and I love making friends and things like that.

3. If you don't win Miss VIS, which contestant would you like to see win and why?

Well, it doesn't really matter, because all of the members on dance.net are special in their own way, and for that reason, we all deserve the title of Miss VIS, because all of us who enter the pageant are wonderful people, and I'm sure that we all know that.

1. If you could go back and start your life over again, what one thing would you do differently? I don't think I would do it over again, but if I had to do it I would do it all the same. I know I have made mistakes, what person hasn't? But I love my life and cherish it for what it is.

2. Why do you think you should be Miss VIS? I don't believe that I feel I am entitled to the award. But I do follow the golden rule and set my priorities as follows: god first, family second and career third. If I were crowned Miss VIS I would uphold family values and use the title and my talents to make my dance.net community a better place :)

3. If you don't win Miss VIS, which contestant would you like to see win and why? I think every dance.net member would make great Miss VIS' We all are wonderful people and deserve such a wonderful recognition.

the link isn't working to my interview outfit so I will try to post it when it is. :)

1. If you could go back and start your life over again, what one thing would you do differently?
When I was 14 my mom started drinking very heavily and became an alcoholic. It was the absolute worst time of my life. Every day I felt less and less loved and more responsible for her behavior. I didn't know at first that it was the alcohol that made her act that way, but I think I eventually knew, I was only trying to deny it. If I could change one thing, it would have been to get help for her sooner. I waited a whole year to tell my grandparents that she had a problem and I wish I could have said something sooner. Her health could have been saved so much sooner and it might have been easier for her to recover. I'm glad she finally went into rehab and to this day still is sober, but I will always regret not saying something before I did.

2. Why do you think you should be Miss VIS?
Just like everyone else in this contest, we all want something to look forward to. Although winning the Miss VIS title won't mean that I will appear on TV to help inspire the world, maybe it will mean that I can help inspire everyone on VIS to be more active and enthusiastic about this place. I want to encourage everyone to have fun and enjoy dance.net while they are still young and still have time to spend online. I believe I could handle any duties I am given and I will fulfill them to the max.

3. If you don't win Miss VIS, which contestant would you like to see win and why?
If I don't win Miss VIS, I would like to see Danceangle120 win. She has worked so hard to get the Fouette dorm active and although most members of Fouette have not responded to her multiple attempts at her "dorm recovery," she has not grown weary or given up. She has continuously tried to get Fouette moving along, and I think she deserves some recognition for that.

*The interview*

1. If you could go back and start your life over again, what one thing would you do differently?
When I was younger, I danced at the best ballet academy we have here in Holland. I tried to impress my teachers every class, I worked really hard and spent all my free time on practicing ballet, especially on pointe work. In fact, I way too young to be even wearing those shoes yet. I got injured and I had to quit dancing for about 4 years, and still, I have to take things easy and can't take more than 2 hours of ballet a week. If I could go back in time, I would take better care of my body and listen to the signals it was giving me. Even if that would mean not being the best in class.

2. Why do you think you should be Miss VIS?
I've been here for over 2 years now, I've always been very committed. The crown on my head would be a crown on everything I've learned and achieved here. I really feel like I have become a better person due to the time I spent on dance.net and the VIS, I would like to show others that they can feel the exact same way if they stick around here :)

3. If you don't win Miss VIS, which contestant would you like to see win and why?
I think every contestant deserves to win, but one person I'd like to see winning in particular is Raindancer. She has always been very helpful, dedicated, respectful and friendly to éveryone. She has done a lot for Attitude dorm. By reading her posts, I can really see she's an honest, social, hardworking, responsible and a very nice person. She means a lot to Attitude dorm and to the rest of the VIS, I think she would be more than capable of handling and earning the title.

1. If you could go back and start your life over again, what one thing would you do differently?
Hmm, thats a pretty tough question. i havent done anything in the past that i have really regreted. i feel like every thing that happends to you makes you stronger. i could have been nicer to my family. and i could have prevented some embarresing moments!

2. Why do you think you should be Miss VIS?
i would LOVE to be miss V.I.S! I think i am a genuially nice person. even though i dont have much experience here, (i just joined last spring.) i still feel like i should get an equal chance to win as someone who has been here for years. i love everyone here so much! you guys rock!

3. If you don't win Miss VIS, which contestant would you like to see win and why?
everyone here is so incredably great and i would be so happy if anyone of them would win! everyone deserves it! good luck guys! not to pick favorites but if i could pick one i would have to say dancrat. she is so kind and organized. she is also extremly active.

1. If you could go back and start your life over again, what one thing would you do differently?
hmmm, that is a difficult one. I would take my dancing more seriously. A long time ago I came to the conclusion I could never be a dancer because of my body, so I stopped putting the effort in and became complacent. That is my biggest regret.

2. Why do you think you should be Miss VIS?
I would love to win because I love it here at dance.net and i am passionate about making it a better place. Everyone is so nice here but there are always a couple who try to bring us down. I would love to help the mods in any way I can in my fight to make dance.net and the VIS the best place it can be! By the way, everyone please go visit your dorm or sign up with one because none of them are very active.

3. If you don't win Miss VIS, which contestant would you like to see win and why?
I would love to see Dancing_Bianca win because she has done so much for Attitude Dorm and she is always so nice and most important, active.

Goodluck Everyone!!!!

1. If you could go back and start your life over again, what one thing would you do differently?
Personaly I feel blessed to have the life I have. However I would change one part. My grandmother died when I was in 6th grade, I wish I could go back to then and be able to tell her how much I love her and to actually get to say good bye. I never got that chance.
2. Why do you think you should be Miss VIS?
I feel that I am not fully qualified, due to my lack of time with dance.net. However I do feel I have alot of the qualities to me Miss. Vis. Such as friendliness, joyfullness, caring, enthusiasm of dance, and just wanting to meet get to know and help people. This would be a good start to my dance.net part of my life.
3. If you don't win Miss VIS, which contestant would you like to see win and why?
The contestant that I would like to see win if not myself is defenetly Dancing_Bianca!! She has done so much for the attitude dorm. She always trys to help out to make sure the all parts of dance.net stay active. She is a fun and caring person, Dancing_Bianca is my top choice!

Good luck everyone!!!!

1. If you could go back and start your life over again, what one thing would you do differently? I would have started dance earlier, I love dance and I love being an athlete I would have started dance when I was a lot younger so I could have appreciated it more as I got older.

2. Why do you think you should be Miss VIS?
I think I should be Miss VIS because I am very active within VIS and the other areas of Dance.net. I think I make a good role model, besides being a dancer I am involved in theater and lots of community service which makes me well rounded. I think whoever wins Miss VIS , should be able to be well rounded and be able to handle any situation with a smile and a dancers strength

3. If you don't win Miss VIS, which contestant would you like to see win and why? I would like to see Dancing Megs. I think she is very nice and very helpful and always being very nice to other members of Dance.net and those involved in VIS. I think she makes a good role model and overall good representative of the VIS

Here's my outfit: images.google.com.sg . . .

1. If you could go back and start your life over again, what one thing would you do differently? I would start my ballet education early and not stop.

2. Why do you think you should be Miss VIS? Someone who does amy things to help VIS be in running condition and is involved in almost everything. I can't name anyone 'cos im not really familiar with people on VIS. But probably raindancer or dancing_bianca. i would like to win it, but im not the sort who likes to take charge or be commited.

3. If you don't win Miss VIS, which contestant would you like to see win and why? dancer_bianca or raindancer. They are very involved, like what i said. They helped VIS and their dorm/s. But anyway, any contestant can be Miss VIS if they deserve it.

1. If you could go back and start your life over again, what one thing would you do differently?

I'd like to start off by saying that I've come to realise that every "wrong" decision I've made has actually made my life so much more interesting. I think it's by the wrong choices we make that we develop as people. But if I had to change one thing, then I wouldn't have stopped ballet for three years. I stopped dancing when I was 12 because I was studying for some important exams, and when I went to a new school the year after I never got round to signing up for classes again because I was busy settling down in the new environment. It was only in the third year in my current school that I started taking ballet lessons again, and I lost a lot of technique and flexibility in the three years I wasn't dancing.

2. Why do you think you should be Miss VIS?

It's difficult to answer this question without sounding like I'm bragging (I really don't mean to!), but I'll do my best :). I'd like to be Miss VIS because I think (or hope :)!) that I've made some significant contributions to the VIS, especially to my dorm, which I love and care for very much. Roleplaying in the VIS has been a wonderful experience for me and I hope I've been able to influence people in a positive way during my years here. I've made so many new friends on Dance.net through the VIS and I've tried to help as many people as I possibly can. I've also had the wonderful opportunity of both serving, participating and leading in the VIS. I used to teach singing in the Music Department, have danced in some performances and have had the chance to be President of my dorm. All of these experiences have really enhanced the time I've spent in the VIS.

3. If you don't win Miss VIS, which contestant would you like to see win and why?

I believe that everyone's a winner. Every single contestant has brought something special to the VIS and everyone is unique in their own way :). If I had to choose, though, I would have to say that Dancing_Bianca and sungurl20 definitely have my vote :).

Bianca has been so committed to the VIS in more ways than one and I think she really deserves the Miss VIS title. I first got to know her in Attitude Dorm. She has always been friendly and never hesitates to lend a helping hand, especially to the new members. Bianca's taken on various roles in the Attitude Dorm committee and has always gone the extra mile to perform her duties successfully, especially when it comes to organising events and posting games to keep us all entertained :). She's also extremely dedicated to the Music Department and to her students in the Ballet Department, and she puts a lot of effort into the classes she teaches. She's also extremely talented at choreography and graphic design (I'm sure many of you have seen her posters (which are so professional looking!), or watched one of Attitude Dorm's performances). Bianca's so fun to be with and I feel really lucky to have met her :).

Jessica is extremely dedicated to both the VIS and Attitude Dorm. She has really livened Attitude Dorm up from the time she joined. She's a very active member and her enthusiasm for the dorm is infectious--she always encourages dorm members to post more frequently when the dorm gets a little too quiet, and manages to liven the dorm up again every single time :)! She has a wealth of good ideas and always takes the initiative to do things. I'm sure you've all noticed how effectively she's been handling the VIS re-elections. She was also responsible for getting the Attitude Dorm elections going as well. Jessica is very friendly, as well as very capable, and is truly an asset to the whole VIS :).
