the soundtrack to the disney show JOJO's Circus is great for the younger kids all the songs are great but there are songs like
the streching song
walk like an elephant
the snake dance
hoop jump
the balance song
take a bow- it tells them how to bow!

just thought I would share! I found it at wal-mart for 8.98 can't beat that!!!

Oohh that show is too cute! That would be a great CD for like people who babysit alot (so they could bring it along with them) as well as like preschools! Thanks for sharing

That sounds like a really great CD for a Baby Combo Dance Class. I purchased three cds from "The Magic Garden". The CD's
are great.
The two CD's are great for a "Baby Combo Dance Class". The
third CD has stories on it which is still cool.
"The Magic Garden" is a childrens educational show that I watched when I was little. It was only broadcast in NY/NJ area.
I loved the show and the music because it is pure imagination.
Any other great kid CD's let us know.

I know that this posting is a little old, but I thought I would share a great CD that I use. It is called, Music For Creative Dance by Eric Chappelle. The CD comes with creative movement ideas by Anne Green Gilbert and is wonderful. I use the music for many different creative movement activities. You can order it by calling 206-528-7556.

I've seen the name Anne Green Gilbert a couple of times on this website (is this a website? Newsroom? chatroom? Don't know the correct terminolgy yet)and would like to order that CD and book you mentioned (Music for Creatoive Dance by Eric Chapelle, book by Anne G.G. - do you know how I can get it second hand over the internet?
