Im a freshman and I want to try out for poms but Im not really sure what all is expected of me to be able to do or how try outs will go and stuff. I have previous experience in hip hop and i was a cheerleader for two years. PLEASE help me out with any information you have on anything that regards poms lol!

When I tried out for poms we were given the choice of trying out for Varsity or JV. I tried out for JV and we were expected to know a double turn and have our splits. But for Varsity we needed triple turns splits to the floor,right and left leaps and calypso's. If your trying out for Varsity it'll probably most likely be a bit harder than JV's expectations. Try and talk with someone who was on the team or is on the team or maybe even a coach could help you out. Good Luck with your tryouts. ~*Erin*~
