Hi divadivadancer! Vaganova is a russian system of ballet training begun by a teacher at the Kirov named Agrippina Vaganova. This is the system of training that produced dancers such as Rudolf Nureyev and Mikhail Baryshnikov. I learned it throughout my own traing as a dancer, and have studied it as a teacher under the guidance of the director of the school that I teach for. Many schools have teachers wokshops in this method. I know that Nutmeg Ballet in CT has one every summer, but lots of others do also.
